It is a little strange to get excited about a new van, but it has been 15 years since Ford has updated the Transit van platform with something completely new.
This latest iteration of the Ford Transit is part of the "One Ford" initiative, so it was designed as a global offering from the get-go. The van pictured is a US spec model but it can be assumed that we can expect a very similar van in Australia.
The other exciting news is that they will have an automatic option in the lineup which was last offered 9 years ago with their ASM electro-hydraulic sequential manual.
