2006 Mitsubishi Pajero NP MY06 GLS Wagon 7st 5dr Spts Auto 5sp 4x4 3.8i — Dual Fuel LPG, 7 Seats, Great All-Round 4WD Runner SAVE BIG AT THE PUMP — DUAL FUEL LPG PAJERO GLS WITH 7 SEATS. HONEST, CAPABLE AND SERIOUSLY GOOD VALUE! Here's a genuinely smart buy — the NP Pajero GLS, widely regarded as one of the toughest and most versatile wagons ever sold in Australia, and this one comes fitted with a dual fuel LPG system to take the sting out of running costs. With fuel prices where they are, the ability to switch to gas makes a real difference week to week. Under the bonnet sits the proven 3.8-litre SOHC V6 petrol engine producing 148kW and 318Nm, paired to the 5-speed Sports Mode automatic transmission. Drive goes through Mitsubishi's excellent Super Select 4WD system — arguably the best part-time/full-time setup of its era — allowing you to run 2H on the highway, 4H on loose surfaces at speed, and drop into 4HLc or 4LLc with the centre diff locked when the going gets serious. Underneath, the NP Pajero uses a monocoque body with independent front suspension, giving it far better on-road manners and ride comfort than traditional body-on-frame rivals, without giving up genuine off-road ability. With a 645kg payload and solid towing capacity, it handles the boat, the van or the trailer without complaint. In GLS trim you get the well-equipped specification, and with 7 seats in a three-row configuration there's room for the whole family — fold the rear row flat and you have a huge, practical cargo area for touring, camping or the weekly load. This is the kind of 4WD that simply gets on with the job. A great all-round 4WD runner, cheap to feed on gas, and ready for family duties, work, or the next trip away. Highlights include: 3.8L SOHC V6 petrol — 148kW / 318Nm Dual fuel — LPG and petrol — big savings on running costs 5-speed Sports Mode automatic transmission Super Select 4WD — 2H / 4H / 4HLc / 4LLc Low range transfer case with lockable centre differential 7-seat three-row configuration 645kg payload GLS specification Monocoque construction with independent front suspension Great all-round 4WD runner Dual-zone climate control air conditioning Rear air conditioning vents Cruise control Power windows and power mirrors Remote central locking CD audio system with steering wheel controls Multi-information display with compass and altimeter Fold-flat third row seating Side steps Roof rails Tow bar Alloy wheels Rear side-hinged door with external spare wheel carrier ABS brakes Driver and passenger airbags 12V accessory outlets Tough, practical and cheap to run — a capable 7-seat 4WD at a sharp price point.
