1964 JAGUAR E-TYPE SERIES 1 4.2 ROADSTER – MANUAL – 82,245 MILES SHOWING – (MY65) This E-Type roadster (DHC) has to be one of the best we have ever seen in terms of it’s overall presentation. Presenting in Off White (Cream) with Red leather interior trim. We hold a copy of a letter from Jaguar Cars Limited of Browns Lane Coventry dated the 4th of July 1990, confirming a matching numbers car, original colour combination, build date of November 1964 and original delivery to Brysons of Melbourne on the 30th of January 1965. Powered by a 4.2 Litre 6 cylinder twin cam engine, it produced when new 198Kw and 385Nm of power and torque, delivered to the rear wheels via a 4 speed manual gearbox. Performance figures suggest 0-100kph in 6.7 secs and a top speed near 235kph.
