As a “Big Healey,” it features a robust 2.9 Litre straight-six engine and was the primary production model before the transition to wind-up windows in 1962. This example was delivered new to the Car Mart Ltd of Ealing London on the 27th of October 1961. Presenting in it’s original colour of Colorado Red and Red interior trim. We hold a copy of the BMIHT Production Record Trace Certificate # 95/8285. This shows some differences in it’s original form, namely engine and wheel change. We also hold acknowledgement from the Federal Government’s Department of Infrastructure & Transport that this car must have entered Australia prior to 1989, which is when the Motor Vehicle Standards Act commenced the current Import Approval scheme.
