1961 MERCEDES BENZ R121 190SL ROADSTER – MANUAL – 73,628 MILES SHOWING The Mercedes-Benz 190 SL (R121) is a two-door luxury roadster produced by Mercedes-Benz between May 1955 and February 1963. Internally referred to as R121, it was first shown in prototype at the 1954 New York Auto Show, and was available with an optional removable hardtop. This example present in Cream with Red interior trim. ** A matching numbers car, we hold evidence from Mercedes Benz in Germany dated the 28th of April 1961. We understand it was delivered new to a buyer in Malaya, then found it’s way to New Zealand as early as 1966 and eventually to it’s present owner in South Australia.
