1974 HOLDEN TORANA LJ GTR SEDAN – MANUAL – 61,182 KMS SHOWING Presenting in Yellow with Black interior trim. This very original example was purchased by the current owner from Freeman Motors Ltd, Holden Dealers of Grenfell Street Adelaide on the 10th of October 1974. We hold a copy of the original invoice, handbook and workshop manuals. This remarkable example has been in the one family since 1974 and completed a very small mileage. It has had very little use for quite a few years, however we have just completed a service to bring it up to date and also rebuilt the carburettor to improve it’s overall running. Powered by a 3.3 Litre 6 cylinder engine, it produced when new 101Kw and 262Nm of power and torque, delivered to the rear wheels via a 4 speed manual gearbox. Performance figures at the time of release suggest 0-100kph in 10.0 secs and a top speed near 180kph. This very original, low mileage and un-molested LJ Torana GTR, will appeal to a Holden collector who admires and values these qualities. Wearing the SA plates RMK 464 which it was sold with in 1974, these plates should be available if the car is sold to another South Australian resident.
