1963 TRIUMPH TR4 ROADSTER – MANUAL – 33,342 MILES SHOWING The Triumph TR4 is a sports car produced by the Triumph Motor Company from 1961 to 1965. Successor to the TR3A, the TR4’s chassis and drivetrain are closely related to those of its predecessor, but with an updated body designed by Giovanni Michelotti. The TR4’s new body, produced in Triumph’s Speke factory, does away with the cutaway door design and sloping boot lid of the previous TRs. The taller doors allow room for wind-down windows in place of the previous side-curtains, making the TR4 a true convertible. The taller, more squared-off rear body line encloses a capacious boot for a sports car. The car’s bonnet has a power bulge or “bubble” offset to one side to clear the engine’s two carburettors. Early cars have a short bubble, while cars after CT 6429 have a longer bubble. This example presents beautifully in Bright Red with Tan interior trim. 1972 JAGUAR E TYPE SERIES 3 ROADSTER 5.3 – MANUAL – LHD – 60,570 MILES SHOWING Presenting in British Racing Green with Cinnamon coloured interior trim. This is a matching numbers vehicle. We hold a copy of the Jaguar Heritage Production Certificate # 41112. Also held is the Australian Federal Government Vehicle Import Approval # 153744/1 and dated the 31st of March 2016. The current South Australia owner searched long and hard both in the US and Australia for a very sound example and finally found this unmolested manual one for sale in Los Angeles in late 2014. After having the vehicle inspected, he had it shipped to Adelaide. The ’72 year model is the Holy Grail of US ” Federal Specification” cars as they incorporate several improvements over the ’71 release vehicles while retaining the high compression engines and not wearing the later Nordel type Enersorb rubber crash bumpers. The vehicle had a “closed door” respray in the mid 80’s and has had a couple of minor touch ups since, but has not been pulled apart or gutted to be restored.   1964 JAGUAR MkII 3.8 SEDAN – MANUAL – 99,408 MILES SHOWING The owner refers to this as “Lady Rose” Presenting in Imperial Maroon with Light Brown (Burnt Caramel) leather interior trim. This lovely matching numbers example was built on the 7th of September 1964. We hold a copy of the Jaguar Heritage Archive Production Certificate # 41945, attesting to it’s origins. Original colour was Mist Grey with Red interior trim. Jaguar Cars Ltd of Brown’s Lane Coventry UK dispatched the car by ship in 1964 to Sagers Motors, the Jaguar dealers of Salisbury (now Harare) Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe). The car was ordered for the British South African Police Force (BSAPF), apparently changing hands several times in Harare before being exported to Australia. 3.4 and 3.8 Litre Mark II’s were popular with police forces, especially UK country police forces in the 60’s. A similar model also featured in the infamy of the Great Train Robbery, both in the hands of the police and the robbers on getaway! The documents provided with the car show the car was imported to Australia in early 2005 to a resident of Crabtree Tasmania. It was later sold to a resident of NSW who in 2018 completed a re-furbishment and colour change to the now gorgeous Imperial Maroon. The current owners of the car are residents of Adelaide and purchased the car in April 2024, and named her “Lady Rose”. Powered by a 3.8 Litre twin cam XK engine, it produced when new 164Kw and 325Nm of power and torque, delivered to the rear wheels via a 4 speed Moss manual gearbox with overdrive on 4th gear, making it a 5 ratio gearbox. Performance figures at the time of release suggested 0-100kph in 8.5 secs and top speed near 200kph. This particular Mk11 is one of the nicest presentations we have seen and is blessed with electric power steering which makes it feel like a modern car. 1960 MGA 1600 Mk1 ROADSTER – MANUAL – 18,626 MILES SHOWING The MGA replaced the MG TF 1500 Midget and represented a complete styling break from MG’s earlier sports cars. Announced on 26 September 1955, the car was officially launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show. A total of 101,476 units were marketed by the end of production in July 1962, the vast majority of which were exported. 5869 cars were sold on the home market, and the MGA was replaced by the MGB. The MGA design dates back to 1951, when MG designer Syd Enever created a streamlined body for George Philips’ TD Le Mans car. The new bodywork traded the MG TF’s articulated fenders and running board for ponton styling, with a single styled envelope fully enclosing the width and uninterrupted length of a car. This lovely example is an Australian delivered (CKD) MGA and is a matching numbers car. Presenting in Bright Monza Red with Black interior trim and chrome wire wheels. Original specifications suggest 1588cc (1600) 4 cylinder B series engine, it produced when new 59.3Kw and 118nm of power and torque, delivered to the rear wheels via a 4 speed manual gearbox. 1966 HONDA S600 CONVERTIBLE – MANUAL – 5,699 MILES SHOWING * AVAILBALE TO INSPECT BY APPOINTMENT ONLY * Presenting in Red with Black interior trim. Delivered new by Carcycle of Pirie Street Adelaide, Honda’s first SA dealer, now in it’s second South Australian ownership for over 50 years. Restored many years ago, it still is in very good and original condition. The owner has completed all his own servicing and does have some invoices in a folder which show monies spent. He has a Workshop Manual for the S600 which is in good condition and goes with the sale. There is also a set of ignition points that go with the car, which are exclusive to the S600. The Honda S600 was launched in 1964 as a roadster and 1965 as a fastback coupé, was Honda’s first mass-produced car. Influenced by motorcycle technology, it utilized a roller-bearing crankshaft, four Keihin carburettors, and a chain-drive rear end.
