This Caddy Life is an excellent car (I suspect this is why there are so few second hand ones on the market.) Called the "people mover" it has a 7-seat capacity, or the rear seat row can be removed as was our case, revealing an enormous boot space that is incredibly handy for eskies, prams, golf clubs, camping, etc. The car has been well maintained and this is a reluctant sale; we now need a 4WD vehicle. The manual, 4 cylinder, 1.9 diesel engine performs extremely well both on hills and highways where 6L to 100km is usual. It is very fuel-efficient; a major reason why we are sad to sell it. It has all the usual goodies you'd expect from Volkswagon, and very low kilometres for a 2006 vehicle. There is no VW emission issue with this model.
The car includes a double bed for camping purposes, which easily sits over the folded down rear seats. Side windows allow airflow and there are mesh baskets for personal belongings attached to the walls, obviously intended for this purpose. A useful overnight bed!
The tyres and battery are new and chassis and upholstery in good condition. Drivers seat raises easily which makes this car ideal for both very tall or petite people. It has been garaged all its life!
