It’s with sadness that we have to sell our 4WD because it’s the end of our trip in Australia. We traveled all around the country with no problems during 7 months. It’s a really good car, perfect for backpackers. It has 2 front seats and a huge bed at the back with a lot of space under it to stock all your stuff! We are the first backpackers’owners, it means that everything for traveling it’s 6 months old (= Kind of New) and that the car is very clean. The previous owner was a mecanician dealer from Brisbane. A 4WD it’s the perfect car for Australia as it can go everywhere, some remote places where no one can access except you.
About the car:
- New battery (3 weeks old, 2 years warranty)
- 2 new tyres “265/70/15r” (The 2 others are still in good condition)
- 1 new spare tyre
- Rego runs until the end of November 2012 (Queensland Rego)
- New radio/cd player (6 months old, still on warranty) + Ouput for Ipod
- Air-co
- The 4WD gears work perfectly
- Unleaded, we usually do 10L/100 = 750 km with a full fuel tank
- All the services are done with “K-mart auto & Tyres Service”
- Bull Bar (very important for traveling on the Australian roads)
- Roof Rack + Roof Basket + Roof Net
About the Camping Gear:
- 2 camping chairs & 1 table
- 1 fridge Waeco 20L (powered by cigarette lighter) & 1 cooler 25L
- Dishes: Plates, cups, bowls, etc
- Cutlery: Spoons, forks, knives, etc
- Pot & pan
- 2 boxes (to stock food & dishes)
- 1 gaz cooker
- 2 Fishing gears
- Camp 6
- Tent 2 pers.
- 1 power-converter (powered by cigarette lighter)
- 2 mosquito nets for the rear windows & 1 big for the back
- 1 phone + 1 Wifi (Telstra)
- Fuel Tank 20L
- 2 Matresses in 1 (special size to suit well the car)
- Blanket + 2 pillows + pillow cases
If we could keep the car and bring it to Belgium, we will do it but unfortunately, that’s impossible. If you are interested, we can fix a meeting.
